Not much time for anything lately. Bo's football started up and Billy is coaching. That means practice every day but Sunday. But I LOVE it!! So does the rest of the family, so it's awesome all around!
Life is still crazy, and not working that way I want it to, but hey there is so much for me to be grateful for. Like ICE CREAM, CHOCOLATE, MEXICAN FOOD, ok, so I'm hungry right now. My kids, my husband, my friends, my sister, my job, my church calling, and my testimony, and scrapbooking to name a few.

Summer is here....
Holy cow. I haven't posted for 4 weeks. What a loser!! I will really try to do better. SLACKER butt!!
The kids are happy to be out of school but I think they are getting excited for it to start again. My youngest starts kindergarten this year and we just got notice that he will be in ALL DAY Kindergarten. YIPEE!! everyone in school all day!! Holy freaking' cow. I didn't think this day would ever come. I will have one in college, one in High school, one in Junior High and 3 in elementary. Wow, talk about spacing them out. I have one more that isn't doing much of anything these days, but I'm still praying and I know the Lord will answer my prayer!!
Youth Conference was a few weeks ago. WE went to the Manti Temple Pageant. It was a lot of fun. It was also a lot of hard work. But to watch the kids have fun and grow spiritually, it makes all the hard work worth it.
This week we go to Girls Camp. I have to admit I love it!! I really do. I'm so lucky to have an Awesome first counselor that is a camping queen, so she makes it all so much easier. My second counselor will be there to help keep us all in line. (not that I could ever get out of line.... just don't ask about the dancing on the tables thing) I really look forward to this every year. It sounds crazy but I get to relax. OH, we work hard at camp, we cook gourmet meals, hike, do lots of fun crafts... but being with my girls helps me relax and forget the craziness of the world. The theme this year for girls camp is BUGS - Blooming Uniquely and Growing Spiritually. We decided to be Lady Bugs. We have adorable shirts with a cute lady but on them, and we made adorable visors with antenna's. Oh so cute!!
I think I can honestly say that things seem to be getting better... or maybe I'm just dealing with it better. However, I'm feeling better and that's what matters!! Cuz, when mom's not happy, NOBODY is happy!! right?

When life gives you lemons make.....
Ok, I really have been trying super dooper hard to make some freakin' lemonade. But it's sour as ever!! I haven't blogged because frankly I'm in the middle of a lemon storm. Dare I say.... Why me? why now? Isn't enough, enough??
I have to say that during all these lemons being handed to me on a silver platter, none the less, I have felt totally, completely and utterly alone! I've come a bit to my senses and realized that I am blessed, not only by beautiful children that are healthy and happy for the most part, but I have a husband that is alive and well, I have a job! WOOHOO, and I have the gospel in my life. Along with lots of amazing friends that give me tons of support and love!
So once again.... in my continuing dramatic life, (really the last year has been ultimately dramatic), I am trying to make lemonade out of lemons. I'm having a hard time finding the sugar. But maybe that's why I am being handed so many lemons. I need to appreciate all the sugar!!
Anyway, enough of my rambling. I think I'm back.

HELLLLOOOOO Everyone!!
Wow, time flies... I haven't necessarily been having fun, however, the time still flew.
Tina turned sweet 16. I can't say it any better than that. Sweet 16. You know the "sweetness" that comes from 16 year olds. We owe them the world and WHY do they have to follow rules. (ok, this is for all teenagers not just 16 yr olds). However, Tina is still an amazing young women. I'm very proud of her and her hard work. She is playing softball now and is learning how to pitch. She's pretty good for a first time ever player and no special coaching. She loves sports, obviously, she's played Volleyball and Basketball this year too. She's working on getting her DL. EEEEK!! Heck, I thought once I had gotten the first two through drivers ed, she would be a breeze. According to her, I yell a lot. Whatever!!
Tiana turned 21. GO Tiana. YIPEE!! Not that turning 21 really mattered to her much. She's not the partying type! Thank goodness. Tiana just keeps plugging along taking care of everyone around her. She is such a care giver to everyone!! She is getting excited to get back to school in the fall. She has officially changed her major to Pyschology. It really doesn't matter what her major is, because she's so dedicated to everything she does, she'd be good at anything.
I turned 41 this year. OH my. I was really hoping that by 40, I would be a hot mamma. However, after losing all that weight last year and breaking my ribs... well running has well... run away from me. BUT!!, I am back on the band wagon and running again. Keep your fingers crossed for me, that by the time 42 rolls around, I will be a hot mamma. Geez, how do we become such gluttons for punishment. We feed our faces with amazingly delicious food for years and expect to look like we did when we were 21???
I've been a bit down lately, and that's why I've sorta stayed away from the blog world. Anyway, I'm on the mend. Why do I let my stupid head play those stupid tricks on me anyway??
The sun is out today. YAHOOOO!! Love spring, and love summer!!

hello my friend.... hello....
Wow, I've been crazy busy lately and have neglected my blog.
My daughters had a slumber party on the 27th, the older girls (11-13) stayed up late and were quiet!! The other girls (4-8) were very noisy and didn't go to sleep until 5:30 AM!! It was fun however, and they keep asking if they can do it again. NOPE! **at least not any time soon
I finally earned my YW medallion. It only took me, well let's just say a lot of years!! I really hope that all my YW and my own daughters learn from my mistakes. However, I am totally thrilled and proud of myself for FINALLY getting it!! Ok, I'm also proud of Jami for getting hers(this is her second one) and for Charlotte for getting hers. I'm really going to miss Charlotte when she goes off to college, she has been such a wonderful example to all the girls. I'll really miss her fun and loving spirit - especially when she drinks Dr. Pepper.
Happy Spring Everyone. It looks like we will be enjoying some sun for a day or two.

It's better....
Ok so last night I logged into Blogger like 20 times and everytime the list of blogs I follow was ALL gone. I don't have the time, or patience to reset up all that stuff. So I gave up.... TADA!! Today it's all better. Everyone is right where they should be, and again I can see everyone's amazing posts. :) So even though I never do Thankful Thursday's, today I am THANKFUL that blogger is all better!!
